Passenger Assistance, Safety, & Sensitivity (PASS)

Certification Program.


It is not intended to be all inclusive nor to address the

hazards faced by each participant specifically.


Users must evaluate their own needs and adapt the

information and procedures presented in this course to

meet those needs.

Training Requirements

Requirement before Training

All individuals requesting this special training will have to provide a valid Basic Passenger Assistance Safety and Sensitivity (PASS) online number award date. (No more than 3 months from wheelchair training).






Certificate After the Training 

Sample:

Certificate issued within 2-5 days of receipt of submission.  

At the conclusion of the in-person wheelchair securement driver training class, wheelchair training cannot be completed online nor virtually. The trainer is required to submit completed exam answer sheets, securement performance evaluation forms plus the sign-in sheet within 2 weeks to CTAA offices via email ONLY.  

Only answer sheets that include a separate test number for each driver will be considered valid for grading and certification (CTAA will accept black/white copies). 

After training...
